(L-R) Lauryn Hill, Pras Michél and Wyclef Jean of the Fugees at the Global Citizen Festival on Saturday Nina Westervelt The 2023 Global Citizen Festival rolled out Saturday in Central Park in New York, the latest edition of annual music festival that this year was headlined by Lauryn Hill and a Fugees reunion and a closing set by Red Hot Chili Peppers. The lineup of performers also included a salute to the 50th anniversary of hip-hop with Common, Busta Rhymes, Rapsody, Big Daddy Kane and Spliff Star.
